Future Memories was selected for exhibition at Watering the Desert| Contemporary Art from Qatar, a Traveling Exhibition of Contemporary Art from Qatar to China, at the Yuz Museum.
"First displayed at the VCUarts Qatar Language-as-Machine exhibition in 2023, Future Memories is a writing device that employs sand as a recording medium. Drawing on a wide range of statistics from Qatar, such as birth and death rates, Future Memories uses these numbers to create sentences that predict the ways in which people will interact in Qatar in the future. It transforms numeric data, which is typically cold and impersonal, into personal and intimate sentences that describe mundane daily activities and interactions."
